But What About A Name?

In the weeks leading up to our babe's arrival, we had decided on Cate Alice for a girl and Will Reid for a boy. But our little boy was not a Will Reid. Back to our very short list of boy names. With Mom and Jim weighing in, we made a list on our room's whiteboard: Leo ?, Owen James, Will Reid. The more we got to know him the more he became a Leo to us and once we zeroed in on the middle name, Knox, it was a done deal. So after a day of discussion he became -- Leo (both of Brandon's grandpas were named Leo) Knox (Jill's mom's maiden name) Antoniewicz.

It's A Boy!

Eight hours and one surgery later at 4:58 pm on Monday, March 26, 2007, Brandon announced, "It's a boy! With a full head of hair!" There was also a fine layer of adorable black fuzz over his back and shoulders, not to mention the hilarious puffs of hair on the tops of his ears. We got ourselves a hairy and healthy baby boy.

Better Late Than Never

Nine days after our due date and a very long weekend full of endless contractions, we finally went into labor and headed to Northwestern during rush hour Monday morning.
