Hitting his stride

Leo has officially ditched his army crawl. He's up on two feet more often than not now. He's usually hanging on to a sturdy piece of furniture or a decent looking pair of legs. But when encouraged or when a need presents itself, he is walking on his own. I think I've counted up to 15 steps before he plops to the floor (thank goodness for thick diapers) or rams into the previously mentioned furniture or legs. He could not be more pleased with his new found ability and the independence and the spectator reactions that have come along with it.

First Day at the Beach

I was sure Leo was going to love the ocean. It proved not to be love at first sight. On day one, he loved the sand, the sun, the puppies and a tamale con queso.
